Education, not professional advice

Everything we publish and sell is for educational and informational purposes, written for a general audience. It is not tailored to your situation.

PWI is not a law firm, accounting firm, financial advisor, investment advisor, broker, tax preparer, or medical provider. Nothing in the Services is legal, tax, accounting, financial, investment, or medical advice, and using the Services does not create any professional or fiduciary relationship. Talk to a qualified professional before making decisions about your business, money, contracts, taxes, or health.

Earnings and results

We do not promise or guarantee that you will make any money, get any leads, recruit anyone, grow an audience, or achieve any other result from our products, programs, or content. Most people who buy any "how to" product get little or no result, often because they don't put it into practice.

Your results depend on factors we don't control, including your effort, skills, experience, time, budget, offer, audience, market, timing, the platforms you use, and plain luck. Building a business involves real risk, including the risk of losing money you invest. Don't spend money you can't afford to lose, and don't make decisions based on what someone else earned.

You are solely responsible for your own actions and results.

Our own results

When we mention results that Gil Ortega or PWI have achieved, such as revenue from past companies, those results came from more than 30 years of experience, established relationships, capital, teams, and circumstances that you may not have. They are not typical, and they are not a prediction or promise of what you will achieve. Past results don't guarantee future ones, for us or for you.

Testimonials and case studies

Testimonials, case studies, and examples reflect the real experiences of the people who gave them. They are not typical, and you should not expect the same results. Individual results vary, and many customers get less or none.

Where a person featured in a testimonial has a material connection to us, such as being a paid client, affiliate, partner, contractor, or someone who received a product for free or at a discount, we will disclose that connection near the testimonial. We do not pay for positive reviews.

Forward-looking statements

Statements in the Services about what could happen, including earnings potential, growth, commissions, or what a method "can" do, are our opinions about what is possible for some people. They are not promises, and they may not come true for you. Examples of numbers, such as sample commission calculations, are illustrations, not projections of your income.

Affiliate and material connection disclosure

For example, we are an affiliate of certain software and AI platforms we teach or recommend, and we do not own those companies unless we say so. We may also receive fees, free access, or other benefits from companies whose products we mention. We only recommend products we use or believe are worth a look, but our compensation is a reason for you to do your own research before you buy.

If you join a PWI affiliate program and promote our products, you must clearly disclose your own affiliate relationship, follow the Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides and all other applicable laws, and never make income or results claims that our materials don't support.

Network marketing and business opportunities

Some of our programs, including the LinkedIn Recruiting Engine, teach prospecting and recruiting methods to people involved in network marketing, direct sales, affiliate programs, and other business opportunities.

PWI is not a network marketing company. We don't sell, sponsor, or endorse any particular opportunity, and we make no claims about the income anyone can earn from one. Joining any opportunity is your own decision and your own risk.

If you use our methods to promote an opportunity, you are responsible for following that company's policies, its published income disclosure statement, and all applicable laws, including rules against making misleading income or lifestyle claims to prospects.

AI tools and AI output

Products such as XLR OS and the OBEYY Protocol run inside third-party AI platforms, such as Claude by Anthropic. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, biased, or unsuitable, even when our products are used exactly as instructed. It can also resemble content that already exists.

You are responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and editing anything an AI tool produces before you publish, send, or rely on it, including making sure it is accurate, lawful, and doesn't infringe anyone's rights. We don't control those platforms and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic or any other AI provider unless we say so expressly.

Third-party platforms and their rules

Our methods are used on platforms we don't own or control, such as LinkedIn, Meta, Google, YouTube, email providers, and payment processors. Each has its own rules, including limits on messaging volume, automation, and advertising. Those rules and the platforms' algorithms change often and without notice.

You are responsible for following the rules of every platform you use. We are not responsible if a platform limits, suspends, or closes your account, or if a platform change reduces your results. LinkedIn is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation, and the LinkedIn Recruiting Engine is not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn Corporation.

Travel information

Travel-related content, including anything published under TravelXLR, is general information. Prices, availability, entry requirements, and conditions change. Confirm details directly with the provider before you book or travel. Travel products and services are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for their performance, cancellations, or policies.

Accuracy of information

We work to keep our content accurate and useful, but we don't guarantee that it is complete, current, or error-free. Tools, platforms, prices, laws, and best practices change, and some content may be out of date when you read it. You are responsible for checking information before relying on it.

Opinions of guests, members, and other third parties that appear in the Services are their own and don't necessarily reflect ours.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by the Refunds section of our Terms of Use and by any guarantee stated on the sales or checkout page of the product you bought. A guarantee, where one is offered, is not a promise of any result.

No warranties and limitation of liability

You agree that PWI is not responsible for your success or failure, and makes no representation or warranty of any kind that the Services will produce any particular result for you. Your use of the Services is at your own risk. The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PWI will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by your reliance on the Services, or for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost revenue, profits, or income. PWI's total liability for all claims will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid PWI in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
